Do you clean the entire yard?
We cleanup anywhere there is dog waste. However, anything outside of the backyard need to be clarified during the onboarding process
How much does Scooby Scoopers charge?
We provide flexible cleaning services to fit your needs. Initial cleanup service is required before the yard can be placed on a weekly or bi- weekly schedule. Pricing is based on the size of the yard, service frequency, and number of dogs. Most of our clients pay between $95 and $150 per month.
Do I have to sign a contract with Scooby Scoopers?
No contracts! You can start, pause, and cancel your subscription at any time.
Can I purchase a one-time cleaning service?
Yes, we offer one-time cleanup services. You can request this by signing up online or by calling/texting our customer service number.
How is the dog waste disposed of?
Dog waste is considered a hazardous material. Properly disposing of the waste is of the upmost importance. Ensuring a healthier environment, especially where family event are held and children play. Although every location is different, we typically double bag the waste and place it in each customer’s trash can. If trash bins aren’t available outside, the waste will still be double bagged and neatly placed on the side of the house.
Do you clean with dogs in the yard?
For the safety of our team, we typically ask that dogs be placed inside while we’re cleaning the yard. If you have playful dogs, we happily welcome their company. If your dog has a history with aggression, we ask they be placed inside before we arrive. 15-30 min before we arrive we will send a text reminder, letting you know we re on the way.
Do you provide arrival windows for service?
We don’t have the ability to provide arrival windows, as our routes are optimized to save on drive time. However, we do offer courtesy texts when we’re on our way.
How do you ensure the safety of our dogs?
The safety of our clients and their dogs is a top priority. To ensure all dogs are safe, we clean all our equipment and shoes between each yard with a kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs. We also take gate pictures when we are done cleaning. We take this added precaution so our clients know, when the jobs done, their gates have been closed.
Do I need to be home for service?
You don’t need to be home, but you will need to provide a way for our technicians to access your yard. This can be via an unlocked gate or other entryway. Once the job is complete, our technicians will take a picture of your closed gate. This lets you know the job is complete and your gate has been closed.
Do you provide dog waste removal service all year?
Yes. Rain, snow or shine, we get the job done.
How do you prevent cross-contamination between yards?
Our technicians take the utmost care to prevent cross-contamination between yards. All of our equipment is thoroughly sanitized between jobs to eliminate any potential biological contaminants before we start a new job.
What happens if there's bad weather?
Will I still be charged for my service: We are committed to servicing every client as scheduled. However, in the case of inclement weather our routes can be delayed. If this is the case, the billing stays the same and you will receive two clean-ups the following week.
